Pictures!!!!

Hey everyone..
Sorry for the long time without a post. We've been having a relaxing time in a cottage on Cable Bay which is on the far north. Long story short, I was able to work out a deal with the nice woman that bought my car to stay in her beautiful cottage. Please enjoy the pictures below, it's basically all the pictures we've taken since we got here. some are from auckland and the ride up north...

What an incredibly beautiful place. I'm sure that you two had a wonderful time there.
Good luck with the Pickled Parrot, and we'll be looking forward for the next pictures. Maybe we'll be able to spot Gay!
Love ya, be safe,
Mom

It's 8 PM Tuesday here in Arizona, which makes it, if my arithmetic is correct, 3 PM Wednesday in NZ. Madre y Padre are flying out Thursday afternoon for a long weekend(? Can you have a long weekend when you're retired?*) to do some house hunting. Hermanito (that's Spanish for "Les") is picking them up at the airport Thursday afternoon and spending quality time (that's Yiddish for "doing whatever your parents want") that afternoon and evening, as Judi and I are working late. They will be staying with us and flying back to the east coast on Tuesday.

Now, the last thing I want to hear while they're out here is the 21st century version of the mother's lament: "He doesn't call [sigh]..., he doesn't write [sob]..., he doesn't blog [GEVALT!]...". So post more, okay? Especially over the next week or so.

And Gay, you lucky woman, we haven't met yet (that's why you're a lucky woman). But the whole world is watching. And so far we've heard from you, quantitatively speaking, diddly point squat. You've been there long enough to get over whatever Orlando Bloom fantasies you may have been harboring, so POST SOMETHING! Sheeeesh.

*In the immortal words of Judi's dad, "The trouble with being retired is that there are no days off."
