China PIctures
Hi all,
As today is our last day in China I thought I would get my act together and put some pictures on the blog. These aren't all the pictures and there will be more to come soon.
This set is from Bejing, Hangsho and Shanghai:
This set is from Putushan and Xian:
We have more especially some really nice ones from our horse trek which Gay wrote about in her last post. And some videos!
Enjoy,
Jon

Hi guys. Greeting from your Asian neighbor- Vietnam. Yve and I just spent an entertaining 30 minutes reading your' last few blogs. Jon- the "venting" China blog should be printed in a humorous travel poetry book. Hillarious! My other personal favorite was the yak dung stories. Your stories are literally crappy! We're currently in a beautiful beach town- Mui Ne. While here we are attempting to master the fine art of doing nothing. It's quite wonderful. Yesterday on our first full day here, I excitedly went for my first swim in the wonderfully warm ocean. Upon getting out of the water, I managed to somehow pull a muscle in my neck. I'm not in any pain as long as I don't turn my head to the right, up, or down. So, I look to the left a lot. It turns out there are a lot of nice things to look at to the left.... We hope your journey to India went smoothly. I'm sure your Indian adventures will be equal to the Chinese adventures. Gay- we heard you're not feeing well. We're thinking of you--and hope you're on the mend. We read your travel stories with admiration and envy. We're excited to see you both in December. Have fun, and stay safe!
Love,
Adam
Hi Gay and Jon,
It feels so nice to be reading your blog from a beach town in Vietnam, and not from my couch during a break from writing a paper! your stories are truly incredible and we would love to be living your life right now (aside from watching the yack slaughter..jon - did you watch??)Your google map is great. this was the first time i was able to use it. In the last few months, it has become clear to me, after a variety of educational experiences, that I am a visual learner, thus, appreciate maps very much. I'm loving southeast asia and already want to come back to visit laos and cambodia, as well as the mountainous areas of vietnam that we wont make it to in our 3 weeks here. how long will you be in vietnam? we can give you some recommendations (including restaurants and markets!).
Enjoy India.. People seem to either love it or hate it there, but seeing that its such a huge country and that you'll have a relatively good amount of time there, you'll hopefully get to experience some really spectacular places.
hope you feel better, gay
love yve
